There's been so much going on behind the scenes besides fiction updates, that I thought I'd put up this little page to keep anyone who's interested up to date.

It's probably obvious by now that chances are I'll never have time to update the site again. I'll do my best to keep it up for your reading pleasure, but as much as I miss doing this, other things have taken precedence. Honestly, if you had the chance to work with lions, tigers, leopards, bears and wolves, wouldn't you?

Author and Title Indexes are completely up to date... as far as I know... If you find anything that I screwed up, please let me know.

I'll work on the Character Indexes in the next week.

We're open for submissions again, but be advised, your fic will be reviewed by a pannel of 4 anonymous authors, so have it beta'd, spell check it, and be patient :)

You may have noticed, the site has changed. The general format will be the same, but for the following changes:

  1. There will be ONE archive for all fiction, it will no longer be split into 2 halves.
  2. The second biggest change will be the inclusion of ALL Tolkien based fiction, NOT just Elf-centric fiction.
  3. All new fiction submitted will be approved by a committee of 4 anonymous authors, with my vote to be the tiebreaker. Fiction will be screened on the basis of grammar, spelling, and general quality. We're not trying to be dictators, we're just trying to keep the quality of the archive top notch. The easiest way to be assured of inclusion will be to get the recommendation of a currently archived author.

Right now, the only indexes that are even close to being current are the Author indexes, so for now do all your surfing from there. Don't hesitate to mail me with broken stuff, I *know* there's stuff I missed, but I'm just too tired and sick of looking at these files to do anyhing more about it tonight.

I promise a more coherent update soon... zzzzzzzzzzzz...
